2nd liver cleanse, energy and school

Posted on October 26, 2010. Filed under: Uncategorized |

I’m doing another liver cleanse, this one is going to be a little more intense. I ordered a colon cleansing kit, which I should be getting this week. There’s some herbal pills and a powder that I have to take 5 days prior to the liver cleanse. I will be consuming 32 ounces of apple juice for 6 days and will be attempting to consume a vegan diet 5 days prior to the liver cleanse. Which pretty much means my blood sugar levels will be a little crazy, and I’ll be pretty unpleasant to be around. I plan on prepping for this next week, probably start next Wednesday.

I still haven’t been feeling any better. Somedays I wonder if I will ever feel healthy again. I still have low energy, and at times I feel like I’m going to fall asleep, and my hair loss hasn’t improved.  I’m doing my zone exercises, I’m using an infrared sauna every other day. I’m supposed to be doing this chakra exercise, which I do when I remember to. I’ve also started burst training. I’m supposed to do it every other day, and between 12-2 when my cortisol levels are within the normal level. When my health care practitioner started talking about the chakras, I asked her about seeing an energy healer. I noticed one in Venice, and looked him up and the people that worked with him gave him a good review, so that’s something I’ve been thinking about. I’m still a little leery of the whole chakras and energy healing, but much more open to it then when I first heard about chakras. When I took my Holistic Lifestyle course early this year and the instructor said that the zone exercises were chakra exercises. My first thought was, what in the world are the chakras, and thank goodness Paul Chek calls them zone exercises rather then chakra exercises.

Other then that things have been good. I finished up my nutrition educator program, my final project was on gluten sensitivity. Which I really enjoyed, and I think I would like to specialize in working with people who have either just been diagnosed with gluten sensitivity/celiac disease or suspect that might have a gluten sensitivity and educate individuals about what things are and aren’t allowed, and how to repair the gut after being diagnosed.

I signed up for the school’s nutrition consultant program and should receive the materials for the course next week. I’m really looking forward to starting this course. The first chapter talks a lot about liver function, which I can’t wait to learn about especially doing these liver cleanses.

Wow. We have alot in common. I also was a vegetarian for 7 years, and my health went kaput. I’ve been extremely physically limited for 4 years now and could use some support. I also am on a WAPF diet now and working with a homeopath. As you already know, the recovery from this sort of thing takes at least 2 years. It would be nice if we could exchange contact info. I’m curious to hear how you are doing. Thanks for documenting your healing journey. I don’t feel so alone now. 🙂

Thanks Joseph for commenting! My fb page is: http://www.facebook.com/amaffett if you want to add me. I would love to hear how long you have been working with a homeopath, and how it’s working for you. Alison
